writes:was seeing a man off an on for several month . he moved to another state and moved again with his son in fla . at first it seems ok now that I have retired things seem not right . so I have been thinking back an I look up how a relationship should be . his family lives in another state but the info I look up says if he was interest in me he should want to meet his family . I still get text from him up until I asked him to stop he always said he miss me but I just don't believe him .I think I made the right decision in telling him to stop contacting me . would like to know your thought on this .

 You clearly weren't getting what you wanted out of the relationship and it didn't appear to be going anywhere so I think you made the right decision.

 If this was an on/off relationship it doesn't appear that you have lost much. I like my partner to be on the scene. A relationship is built. It takes the two of you. I don't believe half-hearted affairs amount to much.
So, my advice would be to find a good man who will love you on a daily basis.
