writes:I had been dating this guy for about 4 months; during that time things were ok, but never really felt he cared that much. so one day he had to leave to another state so we stopped talking. After a while he came back to stay here, so for sum reason i juss couldnt help it nd got back with him, i thought i loved him but i dont know. Well so after like a month since we got back, i called one night nd he thought he didnt hang up but i could hear him talking to a girl, they were arguing but i could tell they were more than friends. I wanted to but couldnt cry, so i thought that probably im not so into him as i thought. Then i saw sum pics of them together in the int. so i was like well hope he's happy with her but it did hurt. Then after a week or so he told a friend to ask me to call him, i wasn't going to but ended up doing it cuz i needet 2 hear wat he had to say: his excuse was that since im going away for college, he wanted to get over me with someone else, nd said dat he wasnt with her no more cuz he never stopped thinking about me, hum who noes but then he said she was too controlling(totally opposite to me)..so he stopped seeing her, oh and he said they never went out juss were seeing each other, but still it he cheated on me nd dat's da point. After a long talk i said that i forgave him cuz i dont like to keep any grudges but i juss wanted to b friends now. at first he said he cant c me as a friend but looks like now he's kool with it. I always wanted to go to prom with him so i'm taking him regardless of wat he did. In the las few days i've been thinking if what i did was right, should i have taken things so easily nd kinda gift him by taking him to my prom. I still like him and i know he does too, but should i juss forget about everything now or keep on going as friends as i've done until now, the problem is im afraid dat da "with benefits" will b added at the end of friends..=]...yeah cuz when we togetha i juss wish i was his girl nd i cant help getting jealous when i see hes been talking to other girls on da phone.. HE keeps reminding me dat i said we were juss friends so i shouldnt act like dat but it's sumthing so hard for me to control. sometimes i think im a lil obsessed nd i juss wanna have him out of pride but sometimes im like if i was able to pass so many crap he did, it must be b/c i really feel something strong for him but i wish i'll find tha answer...Can you help me..Any comment will b great...Thanks===========[Mod note to the OP: Please break into paragraphs to be more "reader friendly" as we have done here. Just tell him then!
Tell him you like him and want to be with him again.
Don't do any of the "with benefits" stuff as you'll end up feeling desperate and used.

To a certain extent, you know he is right. If we made a statement and then contradicts it with our actions, where would that leave us? So talk to him, and tell them how you feel about each other and that you wanted to get back together. Good luck!
