Question - (4 March 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 5 March 2011)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

my boyfriend has been acting mean to me lately.

We've been going out for one year and two months now.

He doesn't seem to care about me any more.

At school he barely talks to me and he doesn't Text me.

We don't hold hands or kiss much.

He talks to everyone else but it seems he's ignoring me.

Today i couldn't i take it anymore. In lunch he was talking to everyone at our table but he didnt even say anything to me so got up and went to bathroom and cried.

I feel so hurt by the way he's treating me. He's just ignoring.

And i don't even know..i already asked why he's being like that...but i guess it didn't work because he's still treating me the same.

I don't want to break up with him because i really love him.

But i am afraid he's tired and wants to leave me.

I jus dnt kno wat to do anymore.

Any advice on how to deal with this? Or how to not lose my boyfriend.?

Thanks everyone who helps me.!

Denise32 agony auntUnfortunately, it sounds to me as if you can consider him to be your ex-boyfriend at this point.....

I know its very upsetting and hurtful, but the best thing you can do is hold your head high, and just ignore him, the same way he's ignoring you.

Its possible that if he thinks his behavior is no skin off your nose, as "they" say, he'll start to wonder why and will begin texting and talking to you again. If so, you'll have the choice of how and "IF" you want to respond......as I said, he MIGHT - but don't count on it.....
