Does sex always result in soreness for the next day or two?

A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi Aunts and Uncles,

I've been with my BF for about a year, and things are going pretty well :)

I do have one issue though…if we have sex for a long time (say, 30 minutes or even an hour), I will be VERY sore the next day, and sometimes it lasts for two days.

Is this normal? Could it be because he is circumcised?? I haven't had this issue before!

Thanks!

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntTHIS, Dear Girl.... is why your local pharmacy offers such products as K-Y Jelly and Astroglide....... We guys aren't terribly concerned about whether or not you GIRLS are enjoying what's going on... WE are quite content to assure that "Mr Happy" gets what he wants... and the lady, be damned....

good luck...

Honeypie agony auntI's not because he is circumcised. It honestly sounds more like YOU are probably excited/wet before sex OR your BF is rough?

Besides 30 min-1 hours worth of friction CAN leave anyone sore.

Are you two using condoms? Because it can be the type of condoms, I'd say try switch brand. If you don't use condoms, try once. It can be you are so sore because your vagina's Ph levels are out of sync. It can feel itchy and sore.

If he is rough - more "pounding" then "sliding" then maybe have him slow down a tad.

First of all make sure your body is READY for sex, that means HE needs to engage in some foreplay to get you wet.

Last but NOT least... have you two had STD tests done BEFORE starting sex?

Make sure you don't have any STD's or infections (UTI for example).

You can't TRUST that a guy knows if he has had any STD or not (unless you were both virgins) SOME STD's don't give off any symptoms for some people, which means they can carry and transfer the STD without knowing they have it.

Be smart, get tested first, THEN work on making sex more enjoyable.

Happy for you that things are going well. with you and your boyfriend. However you might consider using a cream which a chemist can suggest .But after using the cream and if the soreness is still there you might consider having a chat with your doctor. Kind wishes NORA B.
