Hey i was wondering is it safe to have a orgasm through clitoral stimulation after having a baby almost a month ago? I know your not supposed to have sex until 6 weeks after but i don't know if an orgasm this way is safe, i keep hearing different things. Thank you

TasteofIndia agony auntTrue, true, true.

Sex after labor is just about your body's safety. If you're not being super vigorous, physical or rough, you're fine. An orgasm should be dandy if you're not putting your vagina or c-section stitches in danger!

Enjoy!

Honeypie agony auntYep, you should be JUSt fine with clitoral stimulation.

The reason they suggest no sex for 6 weeks is for your vagina to heal, I mean it was just stretches out to fit a BABY though and NOT messing with it (aka sex) can help it "spring back faster and heal up, same if you had a tear/stitches.

My German OB/GYN said that orgasms were actually helpful, sorta like "natural" Kegels..

So_Very_Confused agony auntI asked the doctor that 30 years ago and she was taken aback but told me that it's penetration that is the problem not the orgasm.
