I'm a 17-year-old female. (18 in a few months)

I've been trimming/shaving around the bikini line for yearssssss now. This is mainly because of when I used to swim - didn't want any random hairs sticking out

Only recently have I had my first sexual experience and I was so worried about what my boyfriend would think the hair. In the moment it really didn't matter.. he didn't pull away in disgust. I think he kinda liked it actually cos he was playing with it a bit -which was nice ;)

So I'd say, do whatever feels right. I'd say trimming is great though, cut it to quite short but not so it looks like stubble

maby how bad are you if your like a rain forist then maby it would be on the safe side to to have a quic shave but if your not that hairy then id just leev it.

and a nother thing. why, are you planning on having sex with a gey if so and you know that the gey cers about you then it probley wouldent be that big of a deal.

I am 13 turning 14 in a couple months and my boyfriend has asked me several times to have sex. I simply say "not now" or "maybe later" just so I don't make him run away on me. But frankly, I really want to have sex with him. I'm just to scared of him breaking my heart.

I generally keep my pubic hair trimmed because I have come to find that if its long its irritating and scary. And even though it would be better to ask him what he wants, I'm just to scared.

I too was wondering if I should shave it, trim it, or keep it natural and since I didn't like it natural, and I had been waiting for pubic hair forever, I choose to trim it. When I did, I felt a whole lot better.

Wether you take a bit off or the lot, I would have to say ditch the razor and go for waxing or a epilator.

It lasts longer, no ugly shaving rash, and the regrowth is soft not spiky. I imagine it must feel like rubbing up against sandpaper when their is shaving stubble. Ewww.

heyy, i'm 16, female. Youre quite young to be thinking about that sort of thing, but i guess it's your choice :)

Do you want to shave, or do you only want to please; as i think most boys wouldnt mind. A huge forest is never attractive so i'd purchase some scissors (trim the hedge - and it's way more comfortable.) If you really want to shave - though you really have NO need to shave completely - make sure you have SOME hair...or you will look like a 7 year old :)

and any boy who tells you to shave it all...should go and freakin shave himself, if a boy isnt willing to get rid of his fluff why should a girl have to?

When I look online it seems most teens are shaved, but I find a nice trimmed triangle leaves more to be explored and it does't seem like I'm having sex with a child. If it's not a fresh shave it will be wicked itchy and pokey for both of you.

I'm 15 and I shave everything. I don't do it for guys, I'm not sexually active, I do it for me. I think it feels better and it makes me feel more comfortable with myself. If you shave, it won't look 100% gone and it grows back pretty fast so you don't look like a little kid which a lot of people think. The main thing is, do what you want. If you're curious, try it out, it'll grow back.

I think if you're going to be going that far with a guy you should know him well enough and be close enough to him to talk about this stuff... it is your decision and your personal preference is a big part of it, but guys also have preferences and if you can find out something that would please both of you you're going to end up a lot happier. I'm 14 and i personally prefer shaved or trimmed. jungle is just not for me, but some guys may like that. The point is you need to be close enough to your partner to discuss this and if you aren't don't let him down there.

i am also 14 and i have NEVER done anything to shave or trim. my last boyfriend went DOWN THERE and he just played around with my hair... it was soo hot, so i would say just leave it as it should be or (if your unlucky) you may need a little trim.. but hell no DONT SHAVE IT!!! just think of when you shave your legs! it starts to come back with in 2 ta 4 days, and what if you got a cut! OUCH! think it through before you do anything too drastic.

If you intend to shave then shave it properly, same with trimming.

Personally I'm good with anything but a wild bush ;)

I even think it;s a kind of turn-on for a girl to have SOME pubic hair as it shows they're matured.

when i was about 14 i started shaving it all completely. at the time, the boys in the group i was hanging round with always said in front of me that they preferred shaved. and knowing i wasn't, it really freaked me out so i decided to start doing it. i'm now 16, and wish i had never shaved it all off, i'm quite a hairy person, and it gave me problems with ingrowing hairs which is NOT NICE. i still shave and trim a bit but not everything.

i dont think boys actually care that much at all. just as long as it's not out of control. but do what makes you feel the most comfortable and relaxed. landing strip is the best if you're feeling a bit worried about it, it makes me feel better and less insecure so thats what i do.

im a 14 year old girl too and ive always wondered the same thing. if i forget to shave or don't have time, it stops me from doing anything that involves that area because im embarassed by it. the only thing is that its a hassle for me but i have always thought that guys will think im dirty or unexpirienced if i dont shave.

Yeah. I think most boys our age would prefer it shaved because they aren't mature enough. They probably think it's more "sexy" or something, but they don't realize that sometimes going natural is more BEAUTIFUL. I think, beauty before sexiness. Just go with what you're comfortable with...If a guy can't accept the fact that you enjoy being natural down there, then he isn't worth it. :) Good luckies.

Hey im 14 too and I shave. Personally I feel more confident and not as embarrased. Its up to you, If your planning to do something with someone check with them what they prefer if your not botherd. But it should be your choise. If you are planning to do something with someone make sure they like you first don't be making any mistakes you will regret, Ive done that. It comes down to personal opinion. Some guys may like it, some may not, no matter what there age is.

But it doesn't matter what they think, just do what you want for yourself, not what they want. In the end if a guy is really interested in you, it shoudlnt matter if you have shaved it or not, because it doesnt matter that much, there are so many other important things in a person to worry about.

If your primary interest in sex at 14 is pleasing others, you're going about it the wrong way. As young as you are, it is normally advised to keep your sexuality private and learn how to operate it on your own.

Who cares if boys liked shaved or fuzzy? Any boy who'd see that part of your body had best be happy to see it in any state.

Boys like and respect girls who don't ask these kinds of questions, they like and respect girls who are independent enough not to really worry about what they like, and ask themselves what do I like about him?

They will use girls who give their private parts up to them like so much sliced bread, you might as well just make him a sandwich and forget the sex, because the minute you give it to him will be about as fast as he will lose interest in knowing you.

Don't try to be sexual at 14, you will regret it, this is not the path you need to be on at your age....where are your parents, why aren't you talking to your mom about pubic hair? Honestly, we get a question an hour like this from 13 year olds, it is very depressing, we would love to hear questions about something more life affirming than your pubic hair....
