reader, anonymous, writes (23 October 2012): I personally think it's disrespectful. I don't, nor will I ever for sure know whether or not my SO does, but I would like to think that he doesn't. It hurts enough that he thinks of celebrities. I think what really matters is how you feel about it. And yes, as other people said, is it affecting the relationship? One thing, he's obviously being honest with you which should put your mind at ease, because I wouldn't think he'd be honest if he were going to or had any desire to cheat. Good luck.

Echoing what HoneyPie said - there's nothing wrong fantasizing about someone else whilst masturbating as long as these fantasies don't extend into something that could affect your relationship.
Just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean that the only female who can now turn you on is your partner.
