A male United States age 30-35, *luffydude writes:

alright im a young male and i just got a job with 40 "mothers." All but one of them in there late 30's to early 50's.

I've noticed that lately i have been worse.

When i had just hit puberty I was horny all the time to where masturbation didn't do anything, and im so angry when i get back from work.

It's like there's this built up angst from working there. I work with one other male and im only attracted to one of my coworkers its not like this is some fantasy that im finally living out.

I just wanted a job to keep supporting myself and go back to college.

Is it natural for me to feel this way like maybe its me being around all these females thats causing some hormone change?

Or is there something else it could possibly be?

Tom Obler agony auntHi,

I think this is a natural thing to feel horny around so many women at your age. Also, I wouldn't give the job up at the moment. Jobs are hard to find. I think you should accept it is a part of growing up and then just take each day as it comes. There is nothing wrong with masturbation at home to give you relief from your thoughts when you have finished work.

So_Very_Confused agony auntI don't think it's your job or co-workers either..

it's a function of your age and lack of gf....

it's natural to feel horny all the time at your age...

human_male agony auntTrouble is women are everywhere, there's no getting away from them.

To me, this sounds like a valuable learning oppotunity to talk to women and be comfortable around them, get advice ect. Think carefully about the possible benefits, and wait and see if you get used to the environment before you do anything drastic like quitting.

chigirl agony auntI don't think it's all the women around you. I think it's got to do with you being a young male who isn't getting some lately. Show me the teenage boy who ISN'T horny and thinking about sex every 6th second. You know there were studies on that, it's true that a teenage boy thing about sex every 6th second. So if you feel like you're going nuts about it, trust me, you're not the only one. It's hormones. It'll calm down once you get a bit older.

Then again, sure being around tons of women all day wont do anything to help. You might have been able to relax yourself more if you were in a male dominated work environment. But that is just speculation, there's been no studies, to my awareness, that supports this idea.
