writes: my friend was fingered at a party but it wasn't like a typical party no alcohol or anything it was a barbeque and the guy that was there had been there for over 2 hours, shes freaking out because she hasn't had her period yet and she was supposed to have it in the late june days, she said it didn't hurt so he didn't pop it but she's terrified.is she pregnant?

reader, anonymous, writes (18 July 2008): Hi. I doubt it. If he didn't have semen on his hand then she is not pregnant. But if your friend is under alot of stress that can delay a period. Stress can cause alot of weird things to happen to the body. Another one is even if the cycle is 28 days long sometimes it can be longer. It can be 28 days to maybe 35 or 40 days long. I hope this helps. But to make you really happy I'm going to say she is not pregnant. ;)

 haha no, you definatly cant. you need sperm to enter your vag to get pregnant. unless he had sperm on his finger, theres no way shes pregnant.

Back to what I mentioned about being emotionally and mentally mature....
You are very young and obviously don't know much on the subject. While right now you think you will never consider anything beyond fingering, the earlier you do such things, the earlier you will end up having sex.
Before you engage in sexual activities, you need to be sure you can handle the stress. If you sleep with someone and they dump you immediately after (HIGHLY possible at your age and all the way through your teens) then more than likely you will be highly depressed, have low self-esteem, and possibly suicidal. Even though you may think he is in love with you and he says you'd sleep with him if you loved him, he would wait until you are ready if he truly loved you. You must commit that to memory...HE WILL WAIT IF HE LOVES YOU.
Second, mentally mature enough.... Do not engage in sexual activities unless you KNOW HOW to properly use birth control and condoms, know what to do if they might have failed, and can handle the fact that you just may end up pregnant, have to tell your parents, and then either decide to have an abortion or raise the child.
Can you handle being dumped after sex?
Can you handle being dumped because he won't wait?
Do you know how to use birth control and condoms correctly?
Do you know what to do if the condom rips?
Can you handle finding out you are truly pregnant?
Can you handle telling your parents?
Can you handle the emotional strain of an abortion?
Can you handle the financial, emotional, and time strains of having a child?
If you are scared and think I've over reacted, then you and probably your friend are not ready for anything sexual. If you would blush buying condoms, then you are not mature enough.

 No she's not pregnant; you CANNOT be impregnated from fingering or oral sex.
She's way too immature to be participating in any sexual activities if she doesn't know what will get her pregnant and what won't.
Tell her during the first couple of years of her menstrual cycle, it tends to be irregular. Or can be delayed due to stress.
Also tell her to grow up a little before she lets a guy make those kind of advances on her again.
