If your orthodontist thinks they are necessary, get the braces. They can prevent overcrowding and other dental problems in the future. Your orthodonist knows best. Boyfriends come and go. Teeth should last a lifetime.

anyway i think that your bf is terribly rude and selfish, if want & need braces get them, DONT get any braces because of your bf. infact if want that done he sould get someelse to do his dirty work for him, except you.

 Do you need braces? I would advise against them unless you absolutely need them to avoid future problems because they cause a lot of pain. However if you do need them then get them regardless. I can't believe how rude and selfish your boyfriend is being by saying those things. You won't look ugly with a brace. You'll look exactly the same. As for blow jobs, that's his issue, not yours.
