I am in love with a guy at my school. He is so amazing and is so beautiful everyone knows I like him including him but I get teased a lot of the time from the people who sit near me in tutor. One morning I was upset and someone told me to just imagine him naked. What can I do to stop the teasing?

A female reader, CindyCares Italy +, writes (22 October 2012):

CindyCares agony aunt This may sound like a platitude, yet it works : ignore them. They do it precisely because they get a reaction out of you, you get mad or flustered or something.

If you stop reacting, and just laugh it off , or shrug it off, and change subject, they'll get tired pretty sun. The fun in pushing somebody's button is only when it works. If it does not, it gets stale real soon.

Plus, anyway, what's there to be ashamed or uncomfortable ? You like the guy and you know it. He knows it. Your friend know it. So ? Aren't you allowed to have your likes and preferences ? As long as you don't stalk him, or annoy him with unwanted attentions,... you can like anybody you want, there is nothing to be asahamed of.
