I started my period when I was 14, everyone is different, I would talk to your mother about it, ask her when she started her period, and your aunts too. Change the password on your laptop and put parental locks, that will put a stop to your brother looking at porn.

Don't let your brother use your laptop as, in the process of downloading porn, he may very well ruin your laptop due to viruses. You could hide it or just let your parents know.As far as your period, you're likely a late bloomer. Don't sweat it! Enjoy the fact that you don't have it yet, haha! :) It's really no fun whatsoever.

everyone has their period at different times. if you're under 16 there's nothing to worry about at all. if it doesn't come by 17 i'd see a doctor but til then be glad! it just brings cramps and bloating lol. as for your brother, i think you need to talk to your parents, it's quite normal for young boys to search for this kind of thing but he needs to understand that what he's seeing isn't "normal" relationship sex or he might grow up thinking that some of the perverse things you can find on the internet are normal

I agree with the other Aunts, speak to your parents and ask them to put the parental control on, mind you some of these kids now know how to unblock it, so it is maybe a good idea to tell them why?
As far as your periods are concerned don't be in any rush, they will be there soon enough, and as for the crude comments well i would ignore them, they seem immature and have a lot of growing up to do.
Treat your mum as your best friend, ask her when things are troubling you, she will be proud you have went to her for advice.

I like the parental control idea, that's easy to put in. Ask your mom or dad to do it if you don't know how.
Every girl is different and so your timing may be different from your friends. Don't let them get you down. The ones who have it secretly don't want to, trust me. They are messy and until you learn how to cope with pads and tampons, it may keep you from doing some of your normal activities, like swimming for instance.
Women who are no longer having periods still have sex, so having a period has nothing to do with that at all, that's a silly immature thing to say. Just because they're menstruating, doesn't make them any smarter, now does it?

There's good information there.
You'll have your period before you know it and then you'll wonder why you were so eager to have it! It's a natural part of growing up and it helps keep womens' insides cleaned out but it can sure be a pain in the patootie. I don't want to complain about it too much but you'll find out what I mean.
Your mom is an excellent resource for this as she has gone through exactly the very same thing that you're facing now. We don't forget things like that as we get older. No matter how senile and decrepit we seem to be. ;)
Good luck!

I had my first period when I was 16 years old so don't worry about this. Every person's body is different.

Put the parental blocks on your laptop, or have your mom do it. As for your period, girls can get their periods as early as 10 years and as late as 18 years and it falls in the range of normal. Why not have this discussion with your mom? She will be able to fill you in on some of the family's history regarding menstrual cycles.
