If she trusts you don't break that trust by breaking up with her after because she can say you raped her because she was mad. When I was 17 I had sex with a man that was 19 and then i found out he bot back together with his ex but I found out to late I was 18 so i couldn't get him for statutory rape.  as the other posts have said, 16 years old is the age of consent so it isnt illegal for the two of you to have sex!
just make sure that you are both 100% ready, if you have any doubts i think you should wait until they are gone, you will both feel more happy about it in the end! just dont rush into anything!
please please please please use a condom-to protect yourselves from pregnancy and anything else!

 No i don't think this is wrong, there is only 3 years between the pair of you, and its all legal, she is at the age of concent. The age gap sounds quite big at the moment because she is only 16, but in a few years, like when she is 18 and you are 21 its not even noticiable. If you really like her, and she really likes you and things feel right then go for it.
