writes:Im a 14 year old girl and i have a crush on this guy in my class.Well i thought he liked me back so i started staring at him alot to get him to make the first move.Well He started looking at me the way i looked at him and i felt he had a crush on me too.But then its going nowhere it was like our situation is like what it was a month ago.Why is he not making the move? Even if hes shy i gave out a lot of signals he should get it now.How do i get him to make the move? And another problem he completely ignores me when hes with his friends and i keep wondering why? when i look at him when hes with his friends he just smiles to himself looking kinda happy that a girl has crush on him.And sometimes i wonder hes probably gay.Can you guys help me in why he aint making the move? why he ignores me in his friends presence? and some signs that tell if hes gay or not.

You CAN'T get a guy to make a move. If you like him and are so sure that he likes you then you make the move. It doesn't always have to be the guy who makes the first move, there's nothing wrong with you making the move.
Being a female who has a lot of gay friends, there is no surefire signs to detect if he's gay. Some gay guys you can tell just by looking at them or listening to them speak..those are the feminine ones. The others you wouldn't know just by looking at them or even by their behavior. Especially at 14, you don't even have a clue who you are. Plus, no one is bold enough "come out" at that age.
Final note: Just because a guy isn't hitting on you, or throwing himself at you doesn't mean he's gay.

 Because the guy's only around 14 and he's not ready to start getting involved with girls. More power to him. Relax and enjoy these footloose and fancy free years. Plenty of time in the furture to put on a ball and chain.
