A female , anonymous writes:

what does it mean when a guy says (after a drunken night and opportunity to hook up with him passed) "i would have kissed you but i wouldnt be able to be around you for like 3 months after"? this happened to me recently and i dont understand why he would say this. does this just mean he would have been too awkward or what? he also says he loves me all the time (not that way) and has said more than once that one day we will get married. why does he say those things when he has a girlfriend, and probably sees me as a friend only? should i ask him to stop, as it makes me feel weird because i used to have feelings for him? thank you!

Clarey agony auntI think it sounded odd. After all, isn't three months how long you have to wait to get a full sexual health screening?! It would drive me mad wondering what he meant. It could mean anything and nothing at all. I think he is playing with your feelings, flirting and enjoying the effect. Not such as bad thing if it is fun but he would probably do it to other girls if you were his girlfriend so I would forget him anyway.

smeedle agony auntsounds like he is messing with your head, you have one of two choices,

1/ Tell him to stop saying things to you unless he wants to start dating you and is going to ditch the girlfriend.

2/ ignore him and just dont encourage him this will make him realise that he is not getting to you so there is no point in continuing.
