writes:I'm 13 years old and i just found out that this guy i liked is going out with someone else. We had been texting each other all them time everyday for about two weeks and i had really thought he liked me or at least i hoped he did. Even though we never went out i still liked him more than i had anyone else in a loong time, just today we talked a little this morning but then he stopped and hasnt txted me since. I was talking to my friend and she told me he was going out with a girl who i dont know.and apparently only two of his friends are supposed to know so idk if he knows that i know. (by the way my friend doesnt know i like him) i feel sad and i dont know who to talk to or how to get over it. I dont want to tell my friend because i don't want her to think im silly for feeling so crushed. I dont even understand him or what happened.. plz help =[ (p.s.im on vacation and don't hav school till monday and probably wont see him till then unless i go to this bike race i know hes going to tommorow)i really want to know if anyone can explain to me why he txted me so much if he didnt like?

reader, anonymous, writes (19 February 2009): okay i asked this question and at 13 if ur txting someone the mojority of the day and night it usually means u might like them more than a friend. i dont even talk2 my BEST friend that much. also he told me i looked pretty at this dance we went to and that he liked talking to me and most of the time he was the one that txted me 1st. so that kinda made me think he liked me. and he asked if i wanted to go to the movies with him a bunch of friends but i coodnt. these things really made me think he liked me as more than a friend. and btw another one of my questions was y he stopped txting me completely since he got a gf? i mean we r still friends. and its not like i ever told him liked him so he doesnt know

 Hello, first of all what kind of text messages he sent to you? Out of his messages you can tell whether he like you or not? Maybe he was texting you only as a friend. Maybe he liked you and when he met the other girl he realized that he likes her better. He don't know also that you like him, you cannot assume that because you are texting each other, you like each other.
