 Some men are really stupid in making a story if they were being ask on the spot by their friends. Thats the real thing about men. Instead of not answering any questions he just made it worst.
Or maybe he's not so sure about his feelings towards you. Thats why he is so afraid to be asked about what happened between the two of you.
