Why are my ex and his friends accusing me of these weird things?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I broke up with my boyfriend of nearly 2 years at the beginning of this year, as our relationship has not been good since I started university in October, and we had serious trust issues. Unfortunately things did not end that well between us and we had a couple of major arguments.

He rang me after about 2 weeks to let me know he had "moved on" and had a new girlfriend, which really hurt my feelings.

I had not heard from him since then, and assumed we had parted ways forever. However, today he rang me saying why I hadn't I told him I was pregnant with his baby, and how come I had told many of his friends, and others had seen me and I definitely looked pregnant last Saturday.

I am not pregnant! There is no chance I could be pregnant. I haven't spoken to a single one of his friends this year, or seen them, as the university I attend is over 4 hours away from my family home which is in the same town as where my ex-boyfriend still lives. I haven't been back there for over a month, so there is no chance anyone he knows could have even seen me.

I have no idea what is going on, or why he and his friends are accusing me of these weird things. I honestly have no idea what is going on, and this is all out of the blue.

I would call him back and have things out with him, but he has changed his mobile number, and does not reply to my emails.

Please could anyone shed some light on this situation as I really don't know what to do, and am very freaked out at the moment!
