If it's a few days, then yes, it's natural to be sore some, but if it keeps hurting just as much, or gets worse, see your doctor to make sure you're safe and things are ok.

Uncle Phil makes a good point, it didn't occur to me that 3 months ago may have also been the last time you had sex, I was thinking you had had it since then. I suggest you see a doctor still.

A reader, anonymous, writes (2 November 2009):

If you had sex a few months ago and this particular area has suddenly started to be uncomfortable, it's unlikely to have anything to do with having sex.

Go and see your doctor.

By the way, this area is known as the 'tweren't'. The reason being that if 'tweren't there your guts would fall out.

There are a lot of possible side effects to having sex. There's sometimes going to be pain even after you're done having sex, but, I think you should talk to your doctor to make sure. That way you can get a real doctor to check it out and find out what's going on. If you need any more advice just post again. Please make sure you use protection if you have sex though, that will help keep you from getting an STD or anything like that.
