A female Canada age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I am currently 20 years old and I have stopped growing a long time ago. That includes my breasts.

As of late they have magically started to grow again. I noticed when I was not fitting right into my B cup. I am now a C cup. (although my boy friend is thrilled at this)

What could be causing this? Is this something to be concerned about?

I am not pregnant, nor am I on any hormone drugs (ie birth control).

A reader, anonymous, writes (13 February 2008):

its simply beacause your boobie was very sensitive to estrogen an important hormone which makes breasts grow.Thats the reason why other woman has big breasts. And yes all females has have estrogen in their bodies since we were babies. But it doesnt mean that too much estrogen in the females body can make their boobie bigger when the estrogen receptor was shut down no matter how many estrogens a womans body have it just wont work, and thats the problem of woman with smaller breasts.

hm, maybe you have fotgotten about the boob job you got the other day? ;-)

But seriously, humans do change. Maybe you're gaining a little weight, your boobs almost completely made out of fat tissue after all. If your doc can't find any illness causing this, maybe it's really just something this simple. Besides, you get to brag about your "new and improved boobs" if you want.

A female reader, Sugarbuns Australia +, writes (9 January 2008):

Sugarbuns agony auntYou may have thought your body was done growing, but it may not have been. When I got married I was 19 yrs. old and thought I was completely "growed up"...I hit a another growth spurt around age 23 and my breasts went from 32A to a 34B, then around age 30, they changed again to 36C. Now that I'm in my 40's they've dropped back to 34C which is quite disappointing, as I rather liked them being bigger. Have you by chance gained weight in other areas too? Since your boobs are mostly fat, if you gain fatty tissues in other areas, like stomach, hips, buttocks you will notice a change in your breast size as well. I wouldn't be too alarmed unless they begin to change rather drastically. And if it is your diet by all means, tell us what the hell you're eating so we can all have big boobs. ha-ha.

A female reader, Laura1318 Malaysia +, writes (9 January 2008):

Laura1318 agony auntIt could be your diet. Certain foods contain hormone-like compounds called phytoestrogens, plant-based foods high in estrogen-like compounds.

You can find what they are by following this link;-
