It's an old cliche that after really really good toe-curling sex, you smoke a cigarette. It's a sign of complete post-orgasmic satisfaction.
I don't know if she smoked that cigarette or not, but she was complimenting you. She was telling you that you're THE man.
As far as the text thing is concerned, that one I can't answer. Maybe call her up in a couple of days and invite her out again. If you had sex within a week of meeting her, she may have thought it was amazing, but she may be regretting how fast it happened. She may be leery of rushing things.

As for the text it depends on what you wrote in it. I sincerely hope you didn't ask her about it. Doesn't really look good if you have to ask a girl if she enjoyed sex after the first time. It's kind of case of you being there you should know.
Besides it's not important whether she enjoyed it or not only whether you get the chance to go again. Very few intelligent women will judge a guy on their first time sleeping together. It can take time to adjust to a new person.
