 I love the ideas "fishdish" had about listing all the standout memories over the last year and kind of thanking him for being a part of your life during those experiences.Wow just that you're putting thought into this exposes you as a caring person that he's lucky to have in his life(You go Girl!)

 maybe you make a list of all the fun things you've done together, what you like about him, why you're happy with him, and just say, I have had a great time this year, and I hope we'll have many more.
