writes:Ive been consciously trying to improve my flirting skills with girls. At uni, I went out with a new group of friends and i dunno whether it can be called flirting but i was just basically practicing my teasing and being funny skills on a couple of the girls on the first day. I know they responded to it becuase one of them would always turn away and try not to laugh because i was obviously flirting with her friend. Then I found out that evening that this girl has a bf so I couldnt really do that anymore. On the second day I flirted with one girl who is friends with the first group of girls. Because they are friends i have a feeling they might've spoken to each other before i met the second group of girls on the second day and i have a feeling they probably talked about me. What would girls talk about if they met a new guy who came acting all confident and flirty, not to mention teasing and making them laugh. Would it come off as bad, desperate or needy if a guy flirted with different girls of the same group of friends?

 Well then keep flirting with her and see what happens if she asks just say you were just trying to get to know her friend more so you could ask her out. Goodluck.

reader, anonymous, writes (5 March 2011): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionthe problem was i was flirting with the first girl and i didnt realise that she had a bf until i checked on fb. that was prob why her friend was like omg this guy is flirting with her. as far as the second girl is concerned i dont think she has a bf so im gonna continue flirting coss i like the second girl and i wannas ask her out the next time we meet.

Confidence is a great thing and girls love this but if you are going around flirting with a few girls in the same group well then they will only come to the conclusion that you are a bit of a player. It is always good to keep the flirting to just one girl. If there is someone you like flirt away but although the girls probably loved the attention you gave them they will probably see you as a bit of a jack the lad and not take it serious.
