Honeypie agony auntIf he makes a point of point that out to you, that he "hates" your family - I'd talk to the principal.

However, ALL you really CAN do is BE the best YOU can be in his class.

He doesn't HAVE to like you or your family, he DOES however have to teach you the best to his abilities. Just prove him wrong.

What a shame this has happened. As the other posts have said I think that you should prove him wrong by being a good student ( whether or not you are good at the subject you can be a good student by being attentive and trying.) The teacher should be a professional and although they do not like your family, they will come to see you as an individual.

How do you know he hates your family?

Because your sister says so?

How do you know he'll hate you? What did your family do to make him hate all of you?

Be defiant, and be a good student regardless. If he steps out of line and mistreats you; it's up to your parents to protect you.

Teaching is his job. Not hating students. He has a boss to answer to. He can hate whomever he wants. He can't do anything about it. There are too many witnesses in a classroom to getaway with anything.

If you make good grades in his class, maybe you'll break the family-curse.

Nothing, I'm a teacher and I dislike certain students families makes no difference to how I treat them in class or grade their stuff. So do nothing because it's not a big deal. If you have evidence of misconduct by any teacher for any reason then you can always report them.

Who cares if he likes your family or not, it happens, we can't like everyone. As long as he fulfils his duty to you in the position he's in then it's all gravy. Just be a pleasant student that does her best like you would for any teacher.
