A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am 15. I have very pale white skin, am only 5ft2 and am a size 8 but very fat and chunky.

My boobs are 30G and they wont stop growing so that now they've got these hideous stretch marks.

these are the questions:

1. are stretch marks very very ugly? like do they ruin breasts?

2. how can i prevent the stretch marks getting worse?

3. is there any way (other than getting browner as in more tanned) that I can reduce the stretch marks or make them go away - even if it is some extreme surgery that works that i could consider once i am an adult

Stretch marks definitely don't ruin breasts. I really like them on a lovely big pair of boobs. The first answer you got was right. Noone will notice any stretch marks! Be proud of what you've got.

1st of all don't worry about stretch marks mt friends have them in those kinds of places us vitiman e it will help abit.

next one of my friends is skinny and still has then she uses vitiman e and cover up but you need to learn to love your body even with stretch marks... some people have them because of the type of skin you have your skin tissues may not be as strong as other women so when you expand like get taller be fit in all places you skin might not be strong for when you grow so that causes the marks but you can get laser surgry, use creams or vitiman e if your really not liking the way they look then just cover them up with skin toner if your that desprete... but love your body ... and you can't be fat and chunky an be a size 8

A female reader, anonymous, writes (13 January 2008):

I've just answered a different post about stretch marks and would recommend a body lotion with Cocoa Butter in it - Palmers from boots is apparently brilliant and pretty cheap. Worth a go. I worked in lingerie for 2 years and fitted larger young girls like yourself (I mean larger in the bust - as you are a size 8 that is just right). Their main issue was finding clothes that fit the bust and the waist as you will feel 'big' all over otherwise. They also had issues with back muscles aching from the ample breasts pulling. I really recommend being fitted in some comfy but supportive bras - invest in the best brands. Be proud of your breasts but ensure you have a great silhouette in clothes that flatter rather than make you feel big/ frumpy as this will make your whole physique balanced. Perhaps try Debenhams or John Lewis as they have style advisors for clothing too that could help you find things that give you more confidence.

xapathyxrebornx agony auntHiii i'm from england so i have a good way and product i recommend that is sold in the uk.

but lemme answer questions first.

1) i wouldn't say stretch marks are ugly at all. they're part of you be proud (especially your bust size i'm jealous!)

2) you can prevent them from being worse by eating healthily and follow baby duck's advice one that one.

3) i have the PERFECT solution for you (mainly i know it works as I use it) Okay get your pocket money and go to the pharmacy ask for BIO OIL. It's a white box with orange writing on =] I've used it for three weeks and my scars have faded considerably, i've also used it before on other scars and they faded after about 6-8 weeks. I had stretch marks and scars as well as blemishes, my scars have healed, my stretch marks faded allot, some have gone and blemishes are clearing. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Heres the website

http://www.bio-oil.info/en/home

Hope this helps =D

It costs around 9 pounds =]

message me for more info if you like.

There is not a lot I can suggest in addition of the supurb advice that baby duck has given below this.

What I will do however is suggest sudocrem - it is a very good moisturiser that eases pain and goes a way towards concealing the stretch marks.

Whatever you do - do not consider surgery though. You are always better off with the natural look than you would be with anything artificial.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (12 January 2008):

I used to have those too. They lessen over time. Lotion helps. DON'T expose scars/stretch marks to the sun. If you do, they turn white while the skin around them tans, and most times, that color change is permanent.

The reason for the marks is because the tissue is expanding faster than the skin can. All your skin needs is a chance to regernate/catch up, which can take a few years. If you're concerned about how they'll look in the future, I've found that the marks are still visible near the base of the breasts, but actually on the breasts, it's completely gone.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (12 January 2008):

Hunni, I know exactly what your going through. I'm a size 8 myself and have massive breasts with stretch marks. There really isnt any surgery that can fix stretch marks but take a tip from me - cocoa butter helped. Women who have had babies and have stretch marks because of it sometimes use it to try and help the stretch marks fade. Sometimes places like Boots stock special products for helping new mothers get rid of stretch marks - just go in and get some as it works the same for stretch marks on breasts. All you do is just rub it on the stretch marks. Hope that helps doll.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (12 January 2008):

For starters, there is no way you will be "fat and chunky" as a size 8.

Secondly, its really important you get measured properly for a bra. Go somewhere specialist and expensive, where someone will take the time with you. Such as Rigby and Peller, Bravissimo or even Marks and SPencer. This could potentially help you in the future, especially with things such as back pain.

1. No, stretch marks are not ugly. Everyone has stretch marks, because everyone grows, upwards or outwards! There is no way they ruin breasts. You should put that to the back of your mind immediately. It might be the first thing you notice because you are self conscious, but you need to love your body and have self confidence, because that is the most attractive feature a person can posess.

2. Get fitted with the correct bra, very wide straps, firm support. The ladies in the place you go to measured can help with this. Cocoa butter cream or vitamin e cream might be a good place to start. Perhaps if you go to the maternity section of a pharmacy, and see what products they have for pregnancy stretch marks.

3. Lasers can be used but only when the marks are still red, i.e. recent. Dont forget they will fade with time to a silvery, barely noticeable colour. This can be done on the NHS but considering your age and the area, Im not sure if it would be viable.

It might be worth just concentrating on the positive things about your body. Dont forget for example, Kylie, one of the most attractive celebrities worldwide is only 5"1. No future partner will EVER notice your stretch marks. Honestly.
