Grow up and realise that a child isn't going to be proud of a mother who can't provide for it financially, give it what it needs, has no career prospects because she couldn't finish school, can't provide a stable father figure (cause he won't want to stay around) and all the other things that this child will have to suffer because you were too stupid to realise that a baby is a human being, not a passing fad that you're gonna get bored after a month.

reader, anonymous, writes (4 June 2008): first off i was 14 and i got pregant my boyfriend was 19 your man wont go to jail unless your parents or legal guardians wanna press charges because you are too young to handle a kid so he has to be there bein that he is the father they will let it go and if your capable of holding the responsibilty of taking care of your kid. then good luck otherwise there are options and maybe your legal guardian will take care of the kid until u are responisble enough

 Well there are only a few days during the month when a woman could pregnant and that's during ovulation ( about 2-3 days.) Ovulation occurs about 12-14 days after menstruation. Consider yourself lucky you haven't gotten pregnant though. And I don't suggest you try using the rhythym method if you don't know that much about your body.Plus at your age your body is still getting in the swing of things and your period may not be like clockwork yet.

You stupid, stupid girl. Your playing with fire. Not only are you risking pregnancy, but if you get pregnant your boyfriend will go to jail. You are underage (14) but at 16 he's classed as an adult and the police will put him jail and call him a paedophile. He will be in danger in jail because it's full of father's who hate men that have sex with little girls, he will be segregated and people will piss in his food. When he comes out of jail, they will put him on the sex register and watch him for the rest of his life.

With unprotected sex, there is, if I recall correctly, about an 8/100 chance of you getting pregnant. This means that, if you have sex without conraception, you may not /necessarily/ get pregnant. But the point is that you MIGHT, which is why you should ALWAYS, ALWAYS, AAAALLLLWAYYYS use protection.

Inc schooling, clothing,thats without your child being into sports or recreation, a good school will cost three times that.
Otherwise your child will not have many opportunities in life and you are too young to give it what it needs emotionally, and financially
How are you going to support this child? With your pocket money?

This is rather like playing Russian Roulette - you know, where you put one bullet in a colt 45 handgun, spin the chamber, put the gun to your head and pull the trigger in the hope that you won't kill yourself. Ok - I know you're not going to die through getting pregnant (although quite a few women have died in childbirth) so I guess you probably think it's no big deal if you do. Well, let me tell you, it IS a big deal and you'll be dealing with it until you're about 35 years of age if you do get pregnant. Kids tend to hang around about that long before striking out on their own in the world.
We're talking about a potential human life here. Just like yours or mine. How would you feel if you were the result of some stupid teenage experiment that your parents played? Do you really want to ruin the rest of your young life playing a game such as this? You're totally crazy if you do - and so is your boyfriend.
