Then when I stand up, the penis , if it is very hard and if I'm very aroused, simply keeps parallel to the floor. It doesn't stand erect at an acute angle. I've had sex enough times with my partner and she's quite content with the type of intercourse she's getting but this "unmanly" stance of my penis is bothering me. What could be the problem with me?

 I imagine that penises are all a little bit different, so there is a wide range of what is considered normal. You sound normal to me.

You say you´re 41-50 years old, but if it bends to the left, maybe you´re a bit younger?
