Two questions here.

I am friends with this girl, we have been hanging pretty much exclusively at uni, so much that people thing we are a couple.

I'm not really attracted to her, but today she was all happy about this guy who likes her, and I felt so jealous and I don't know why.

2nd

There is another girl I also acquaintances with, I thought she was pretty and kinda fancied her. Today I was told that this girl has a crush on me. I would have thought that would be awesome, but for some reason I no longer fancy this girl...

Why?

Thanks

Hmmmm sounds alot like what i am going through. I also have a friend(1) who i am currently itimate with but we are not in a relationship and there is no emotional feelings attached, it is just strictly sex. I also have another friend(2) who i hang out with alot because he comforts me, ive known him for years. A couple of weeks ago my friend (1) invited one of his girl friends to accompany us to this bar. For some reason i got jealous and ignored both of them. Going forward i think that people get this way because the other person is someone that you know you dont see yourself with them because you guys are just friends, but then there is that possessive side that comes into play because you dont see someone else taking that same role away from you. I am not sure if this helped at all but this is how i feel. =)

Cozmo agony auntYea I guess I like the fact it is always just me and her, others may hang with us, but we are the constant... and if she gets a boyfriend she will want to spend time with him and not me. I haven't really ever had a girlfriend so I must be getting attached to me a bit.

janniepeg agony auntYou were jealous because you haven't been that happy for a while?

For the second girl, maybe you don't really fancy her as much as you thought, and that you are only interested in girls you have to work hard for?
