writes:K. Im in highschool and im 14. I like this guy...lets call him....Mike. So I liked him since secondary 2 and I we would never talk. Only a few times we had our little conversations but it was nothing much. He did talk to other people but with me, he was more nervous and laughed at things I said that werent funny. So I liked him more. I got a stupid idea that he liked me so I would find myself looking at him at times and he would look back sometimes vise-vera. My friend is telling me that he likes me but, he is Mike. A known, more confident, very cute, always around his friends guy. Im always jumpy and funny around my friends but around him im so.. boring and nervous, i dont wanna give him the impression that im boring. Now, this year, he is in 5 out of 9 of my classes and in one of them he sits near me. He sat next to me and (i look at everything in a room when im bored) So i looked at him for a spit second and he was looking back! he started asking me a couple of things and then twisted my words afterwards and started teasing me. I said, ''Man, she is so rotten.''''What? you think she's hot?''''Wha-? No.''''You said she was hot''''I said she was rotten. You think she's hot.''''Fine. I'll belive you this time...but next time, i wont.''That last bit he couldnt stop smiling when he said it. I was smiling too, even tho there was nothing to smile about.And when I take the bus or im alone with him somewhere like in class, he doesnt talk and jump around like he usually does, but is all quiet.He sits with this girl, ...lets call her, Annie. and Talks to her and sits with her. Like there's no problem. Why can't he talk to me like he does with her? Does he hate me that much? Me and my friend think he is trying to make me jealous but I talk with....lets call this dude, Rob. So i talk with Rob and he seems to notice too. Just the other day, I was taken with him to get vactinations and I was smiling and looking in Rob's eyes and I saw him looking at me instead of Annie and she was right infront of me. Even when i left the class he was looking. CONFUSING. D:Rob is much nicer than Mike btw. He actually TALKS to me.

 Sounds like Mike likes you but he doesn't want you to know that..........he teases you because he enjoys getting a reaction out of you. he talks to Annie and not to you because if he talked to you then he thinks you would know he likes you and he doesn't want you to know that cause either he's afraid he'd look " sissy " if he had a crush on a girl or he wants to be the one " in control" of the situation. he probably is also trying to make you jealous and enjoys that as well. Talk to Rob if you like him but don't use him just to make mike jealous cause that's not right or fair. Don't play Mike's game.........just ignor him but be nice if he talks to you, you should always be nice and polite, no need to play his games:)
I say get to know Rob slowly as friends and see if he truly is a nice guy.......take your time

Tell him how you feel! All this blatant flirting going on, mixed with this childish game playing is really exausting.
He's probaby feeling the exact same way as you are. He doesn't know for sure if you like him and is afraid of rejection, so he talks to Annie to get your attention and to hopefully get you to admit your feelings.
In turn, you start talking to Rob, probably for the sam reasons. This is just gonna cause distance and frustration. Mind games suck. Don't play them.
I say give it a shot. It sounds like he really likes you!
