writes: my fiance and i have been together for four years and he moved to a new state to live with me. we were so in love when we met, but lately i have been dissillusioned with him and how lazy he is. he doesn't do chores, he's cheap, and i'm starting to think i should end it. the wedding is less than six months away...Help!

reader, anonymous, writes (3 January 2007): You should be so happy about getting married and not talking about ending it. You cannot go ahead and marry this guy if you have feelings like this. He won't change just because you are married, the chances are he will get worse!!! Cut yourself free now and get rid of this cheap lazy bum before he drags you to the gutter and beyond. DO NOT contemplate getting married.
