writes: Hey,I now, through the powers of online anonimity, declare that I am a hetrosexual 19 year old male who has never even kissed a girl. Now, some may argue this is down to me being socially inept. Here's the backstory. I have no brothers or sisters. I went to an all boys high school and now that I'm at University (where I thought for sure I'd find the love of my life) it still hasn't come. I have found interest, but have rejected those interests due to no real attraction. I feel that would be unfair. I am trying not to picky, but comprising for me, is next to failure. Please help me in my despair of not finding even one single lovely lady even to just enjoy their company.Yours

 haha i have to say i love your writing style - your obviously very articulate and clever, so i refuse to believe any excuses of social ineptitude, tis just pure fussiness my dear!! Can i break the trend of answers and take the typical teenager approach (being as i am just a typcal teenager the same age as yourself) I can honestly say that the best thing that ever happened to me was when i lost my conscience: to me a kiss means very little and the concept of love means even less. i know i sound like a heartless whore, but frankly im happy as hell. i cant have my heart broken, if someone isnt interested i can just shrug it off, and i can enjoy the company of guys without the hassle of hoping or caring if it'l lead to something more!I know that im missing the point but stop overthinking it - not all firsts have to be special, so if you wanna kiss a girl, pick the prettiest one, stop saying things like "that would be unfair", and just play the game!...sorry if that sounds insensative and brutal!

 Hello, There is no rush for the first kiss, if you relax and concentrate on your friends and uni then the girl of your dreams will be just around the corner! However, if it doesn't happen soon, don't give up hope, because one day the perfect girl will be sharing your life and you will be wondering what all the fuss was about in the first place! Good luck!

reader, anonymous, writes (25 March 2006): Listen to be honest I myself as well was 19 when I had my first kiss, and let me tell you was it ever worth the wait, and that girl I still love to death even thought it isnt the same for :( anyway, like the previous answer, hang out with friends relax and it will happen, trust me it happened to me...

 The answer is in your question, you need to find company first and then see what grows of this.
You are obviously someone who thinks a lot and is possibly a worrier, so relax, make friends and the rest will follow.
Enjoy womens company and one day one of those women will fall in love with you and you with her and you will wonder why you ever needed to write in here.
