kenny agony auntThree years is no age gap atal. Some people have relationships with 15 or even 20 years difference and still make it work.

Like flower girl says its only a problem when you make it a problem.

stevie jade agony auntNo dont let it get in the way. Not if you have simular minds and are on the same wave length. But I met a guy thats nearly 2 years younger..Hes seems very niave. So that puts me off, cos ive been through a lot with guys and I look for the same qualities and experience in a guy so they know what they want. But go for it...dont let age stop you.It how you both think, not the age.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (30 July 2007):

There's only 3 years between you, that's barely anything. I mean if the girl was 18 and the guy was 21 then that would be seen as fine so vice versa is fine too. As long as you get time to see each other.

angel-kate agony aunti personally dont think 18 and 21 is that big a age gap, i think it would be fine you guy went out. if you dont feel comfortable you could just stay friends!

3 years is nothing to worry about, you hear of people with about 30yrs between them or even 50yrs!
