writes:I am 13 and my best friend (he's a boy) tells me everything... the other day he said to me he thinks he is ready for sex... i said i think i am too... later on he asked me if i wanted to have sex with him and he wants it to be with some he trusts since its his first time.... i said im not sure as i think it might ruin our friendship because if we have sex and become more than friends it might ruin everything.... should i or not ???

you should want to have sex with someone you are romantically in love with and attracted to, because this is a love making act it will feel quite awkward and wrong doing it with a mere friend. you don't want to do this with your friend and regret later that you lost your virginity to some guy that wasn't even your boyfriend.wait until you find the one you love until you give yourself awayxox

No, your friend could be charged with a sex crime, and this could ruin his life... laws vary, but it's not uncommon for young boys to get charged with "sex with a minor"... image him in 10 or 15 years, no job, can't buy a house, can't rent a flat without telling the entire neighbourhood. No one will care that you and he were both 13...

 When and if you have doubts, you aren't ready. And yes with your best friend can ruin the friendship. Not everyone are able to step back after having intimate relations. (that is sex by the way) a "just" be friends..
You two are 13 years old, you have PLENTY of time ahead of you to experiment with sex. Do you really HAVE to start doing that now?
