Pregnancy and oral sex

Question - (7 July 2009) 4 Answers - (Newest, 8 July 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Ok so I've been with my boyfriend for almost 9 months now and we've been having sex for about 8 months. We used condoms for about 2 and a half months and then I went to the doctors to get a pregnancy test just to check. (Thankfully it was negative) :)

Then I went on the pill (estrogen only) and then on the 12th of February I got an implant.

My boyfriend and I have sex maybe a couple of times a week (with condoms). We've only not used a condom a couple of times recently and he's withdrew before he came, (I know that is not a very effective method)

My period is a week late, but my period has been a bit irregular recently, which I think is due to the implant..

But I just want to know what the chances are of me becoming pregnant?

Also, I want to ask my boyfriend to go down on me more, but I don't really know how to ask him to do it. I know that he likes doing it to me as I've never asked him to do it to me, he actually asked me if he could do it. But hasn't done this for about a month. Any tips?

If you want him to go down on you, just ask him. I love going down on my wife and I know if she ever asked for it, it would be a huge turn on and I would be at it in no time! Just make sure you do it in the heat of the moment and ask it with some confidence. You could also offer a trade; I would think most men would be willing to accept that:)

If you're using the implant as directed (getting it changed when it needs to be) or taking the pill as directed, you don't even need to be using the condom. The fact that you are makes your odds of being pregnant slim to none. Especially as he's been pulling out when he doesn't use condoms, I wouldn't worry.

The key to any relationship is communication. I bet he's stopped because he thinks you don't want it anymore. Why not just say, I LOVE when you do that thing with your tongue... And describe whatever it is he does that you love and he'll be doing it in a flash.
