A male Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

hey

Quite a hard situation, and I feel like a dick for some of it, get that out the way first.

I was seeing a girl about a month ago called, let's call her J, and I really loved her but we didn't see each other much (she goes to college, me 6 form, and we live 4 miles apart), so we decided it was better to give it up kind of. Now I was ok for about 2 weeks then some other girl, C lets call her, started to like me and everyone was telling me to go out with her and I thought what the hell, but lately she's told me to stop drinking and stuff and I do what I want to be honest but here's the problem, I've been talking to J again and we realised we still really love each other and I might be moving near her, what should I do? Should I break up with C if so how? or should I just forget about me and J? Well confused!

A reader, anonymous, writes (29 November 2008):

If you really love J then it's best to break up with C as sson as possible! The longer you leave it the worse it's going to be!

As for how to break up with C, tell her the truth! If you lie to her and she later finds out then it's just gonna hurt her even more! She will be really upset at first - depending on how much she likes you - but she'll get over it soon, especially if you tell her the truth!

Hope that has helped in some way, good luck xx
