Last Wednesdya I began getting pains in my chest when I breath. Its been almost a week of pain and my parents finally might take me to the doctors but they're afraid that I go and theres nothing wrong with me. Should I still go?

The pain in my ribs is the same and Advil doesn't help and it hurts when I touch my ribs.

Could be pleurosy - I had it and it took antibiotics to clear it. Breathe in and it's agony. Bloody horrendous agony. Like the others say, get yourself off to the doctor asap.

Of course you Your health is not a game and it is not insignificant and when it comes to it, it is ALWAYS better to be safe. Your parents should execute the fear of wasting time/money/whatever else, and be glad that you are telling them this problem early on so that they can be as proactive as possible and you find that they will not take you, you should find someone else to take you.
