I really liked this guy and i knew him only online.I stopped going online and he started calling me 3 months after i stopped going online. He called me with 5 weeks difference, because i had feelings for him i tolerated that.He told me he wanted to visit me in canada and he wants to get married. He lives in uk and im in canada,he wished me a day after my birthday passed and he said "happy fucking birthday".When i asked him what he meant by that he said he wished me like he would wish any friend.I was really hurt by the "any friend" part and i told him that i dont want to talk to you and im going to delete you from my msn.He said 'bye' and 'i will too'.I dont understand, was i too hasty in saying that i dont want to talk to you? i know he will never call me again or ask me to add him back, what did i do wrong?

What a jerk!!! I dont think you did anything wrong. I think what happened was more about HIM then it was about you.

No decent, mature, respectable guy would of said 'happy fucking birthday' to a lady.
