A male Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello, Me and my girlfriend have been dating for 7months from today and a few months back she told me that she cant have children.

At the time she was told by the doctor. She was young and she didnt really care. But a few weeks ago she fell pregnant and now she is really upset and devastated due to a miss carriage she had last night. She thinks im going to leave her one day because she cant conceive.

I really want to help her because i love her. She means the world to me. Ive told her that i will never leave her and that i love her with all my heat. Even when i tell her this she is still Devastated, Depressed and really dissapointed in herself.

I just want to know what I could do or say to cheer her up? I just need some advice on how to comfort her in a time like this?

eyeswideopen agony auntShe can conceive she just may not be able to carry it full term. She has other options: adoption, a surrogate mother. Give her time to grieve over her miscarriage then discuss what you see in your future together. Just remember to use birth control because you don't want her to have another miscarriage. Best of luck.
