My family and friends seem to be ignoring me, why?

Question - (2 April 2014) 1 Answers - (Newest, 2 April 2014)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My family and friends never seem to want to stay in touch with me and I don't know why. This has been going on for a long time. Over the past week or so I've messaged on facebook or texted/called several of my friends and family members, and they either ignore me, don't say much at all, or tell me they have to go and they'll talk to me later but they usually never do.

I understand that people are busy or forget, but this stuff happens most of the time. I'm starting to think I'm doing something wrong or they just don't want to talk to me. I'm very friendly with them so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I feel bad that people don't seem to want to talk to me.

What should I do?

Ciar agony auntHave you tried asking any of them?

It's impossible for us to tell what you're doing or not doing that might be annoying them, or even if they;re doing the same with each other but you only notice it happening to you.

If this were me, I'd approach someone I thought would be candid about it.
