angel of love agony auntwell just tell your ex-boyfriend strate out...tell him that you care about your boyfriend and that he has nothing to do with why you are dating him...tell him how you truely feel and tell him to back the hell off...your boyfriend didn't say anything because of the fact that they were old mates in school...just tell him and your ex exactly how you feel and tell them what is the real honest to goodness truth..hope all goes well

A reader, anonymous, writes (12 November 2007):

This sounds typical for kids of your age, especially boys. Have a chat with your bf and explain that this is upsetting and you have done nothing to deserve this. If he really wants to be with you and respects you he wont listen to this nonsense being spurted by your ex. Let him know that in future you would be happier if he at least stood up for you or said a good word for you. Dont let this fool spoil what you two have. And if your bf does listen to this cr*p then the lad isnt of you. You deserve someone who will protect and stand up for you.

take care
