 If a guy really likes you, he would probably not try and avoid you. Maybe he can see you like him, but doesn't want to deal with the situation.
The only way to really know, is to ask.
Maybe he's too shy to ask you out. Why don't you initiate a meeting. Movie or something? If he says yes, then you know there is an interest, and if he says No, then you know there isn't.
I hope this situation get's cleared up quickly for your sanity.
