Yes he was trying to make you jealous but why do you care if you broke it off he is just trying to be a player and you and your friend are falling into the player trap let him get on. His character isn't to outstanding if he is willing to move on to your friend so quickly after you anyway by the time school starts he will be on to the next girl and so on. Please try to pick better bf's some with a little more morals ok.
