 I think he's trying to look like a jerk to you so you can break up with him. I think it's actually quite nice of him to do that... Maybe he fell out of love with you and doesn't want to use that excuse. My answer obviously isn't the best. So, don't take it too hard.

If you find this behavior intolerable now, chances are it won't change. When you said you don't like the idea, it should have been dropped and never mentioned again. The fact he's laughing at you when you speak of you feel, says a lot aswell. Also, once people have threesomes, the relationship rapidly combusts. Keep that in mind. Best of luck to you.
