A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *anyamayte writes:

My boyfriend is jealous of one of my old mates, I love my boyfriend so much, and I never want anyone else, but this lad keeps popping up and he hates him and so do I, but he doesn't believe me. I know he should but he has no reason I've never lied before. I just wanna show him that he's nothing to do with me any more and even if my mum likes him more doesn't mean I do at all. I don't know what to say. help.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (11 January 2009):

express your feelings to him and let him know that he's the only one. Tell him feelings from deep down inside so he'll know he's the only one in your heart. He matters not the other guy.
