However he recently sent these to his ex girlfriend I have confronted him about this and he is very sorry and says he has never done anything like this before and will never again the thing is I dont believe him I am absolutely gutted.  He violated your first emotional need which is to protect your reputation. No telling where that pic has ended up.
Dump him. The only reason he would do that is he is still into his ex (for just sex, or a relationship).
You are being used on many levels.
And if possible, before you break up with him, get a nude shot of him, and delette your pics from his possession.

 Hi,What on earth was he thinking when he sent the pictures? I dont blame you for being betrayed i would be too but why did he do it in the first place was he trying to make her jelous by seeing the 2 of you together? I'd sit him down and talk to him try and get to the bottom of it you wont live a normal life until its all cleared up!!
