 Your boyfriend doesn't treat you badly...you let him treat you badly. It is just about self respect at the end of the day and it is ok to forgive someone for minor stuff, but he just doesn't sound like a very nice person if he is trying it on with your friends, cheating and then sending you photos of it. He clearly doesn't have many true feelings for you so why would you put up with it? Being single surely has to be better than putting up with this abuse? He sounds like an insecure little boy in need of therapy...but you don't have to be his therapist!
