Moles are not ugly at all they are in fact also known as 'Beauty Spots'. Its nice to have something distinct about you. Don't ever think of yourself as ugly. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. If you really don't like the mole and it is making you insecure then sit your mum down and tell her its making you unhappy. However I think you should keep it there. We are all made with little imperfections that make us unique!.

I would try not to worry about the mole, people may not even notice it as much as you. It is bound to bother you because you are so aware of it. Also it is possible to have it removed as my sister had a couple of moles removed one on her face and one on her neck. It is also best sometimes (only sometimes) to have them removed as some can become cancerous. Why not get it checked as this is why my sister had hers removed just in case they became cancerous. I think your mum is just trying to make you feel better about yourself. dont worry about it.

 now when I was a girl (some short time ago) facial moles were referred to as beauty spots. Marilyn Monroe (iconic sex symbol) had one as did Cindi Crawford.
Try to accept it as someting uniquly yours, because it sure aint ugly!
