Lies caused my mum to dissaprove, I want my ex back how do I approach her?

Iv been with a boy before and hes 16 years old, but my uncle says to my mam he was 18 when he wasnt but my uncle has never bothered with me ever in my life until now, but why now? the boy i was with was the best boy i ever dreamed of but i broke up with him coz my mam disaproved of him because of the lies my uncle was telling her about his age when my uncle doesnt even know him he didnt even know his name. I need help on how i can tell my mam that i want my ex boyfriend back without her disapproving me? I NEED HELP BADLY... xx

I agree, if she's so sure he's 18, show her some ID of some sort (driver's license, birth certificate, etc.) or if you want you could have your mum tot talk to HIS parents - who obviously know how old he is. :)

She may still decide she doesn't approve of him for some reason, but at least the age thing would be cleared up. Are there other reasons she doesn't like him? Explain to her, calmly, that your uncle lied about how old your boyfriend was and you don't know why but you'd like her to give him another chance. I hope things clear up for you.

boo22 agony auntHi, just tell your mam that your uncle was mistaken, Everyone gets things like this wrong all the time. It's no big deal. Show your mum his id if you have to. That should sort it. good luck

Are you sure that your uncle was lying?

That said, if you want this guy back and he really was that good, you'll have to tell your mum that although she disapproves, it is your life and you have to live it. Good luck.
