writes:When I was 20 i started a waitressing job. I had the biggest crush on this one customer. He would come in everyday and we had so much in common. Didn't think he (Riley) would be interested in me because he was 32yrs old. So I started to date (Gordy) who was the same age as me. Riley and i continued to flirt whenever we saw each other. Then one day he said that he wanted to take me out. I declined as I was involved. 5 yrs later Gordy and I decided that we were going to move in togeter and buy a house. So on my last day of work Riley came in to see me. He said that he wanted to keep in touch so we exchanged email addresses. Thought it would be harmless. We exchanged emails daily for a year. Its like we knew everything about each other. Then he asked me out agian and told me that he was always interested in me from the begining . I said I coudn't even though I felt the same way that he did.. He then stopped writing to me as much. He acknowledged the fact that he would probably be a bad influence on me. It really hurt. I remembering crying when he wrote that. Which was a good thing. Made me think of him even less. Because At this point I felt like I was already emotionally cheating. A year later (present time) he sent me a email asking if I was single yet.I am so confused. It's like he's waiting around for me. I don't know why but its like he has this hold on me.How do I know if Gordy is the right person or if Riley is the one for me?? At times I wonder what my life would be like if I was with Riley. Everytime I hear from him my emotions come flooding back. So is it normal that Ive been with my bf for almost 8yrs now and still thinking about Riley all the time??

 Sweetheart only you can decide who the right person is, if you just stay with Gordy because he is safe and comfortable then that isn't very fair to him is it? Don't forget the grass looks greener on the other side stuff but you say you know everything about Riley so maybe he IS the real thing. You really need to sit down and have a long hard think, you owe that much to Gordy. Let us know who you decide on.
