I've been in a bit of a depressive mood this week and for the past year ish I have suffered with mild bouts of deppressive moods, nothing that has been serious. Since leaving school I have done a lot like get a job, start college meet my girlfriend, take driving tests etc etc.

My deppresive moods started when I was with my girlfriend for 4 months. All of a sudden over night I just felt incredibly down and in the darkest mood ever. I think it was made worse by my insecure girlfriend crying and accusing me of going off her. She was hailing questions at me like 'If your doubting me, you'd better tell me soon'. And I was so down I couldn't respond properly and she went home in tears, despite me being normal the night before. My mum reckons its the fact I had done a lot in the space of 4 months such as start college, get a job, meet my girlfriend and other big things. She reckons its this because I am an anxious person and don't have a lot of confidence and get stressed over the smallest thing and all this wory and stress was suddenly being released.

Ever since this strange mood I have always assosiated my occasional deppressive mood with my girlfriend and think that i'm going off her.

Its a common thing now that i'm fed up with and need to get rid of.

Can anyone help?

I suggest you consult a psychiatrist. Sometimes bouts of depression are caused by brain chemical imbalances. Many times a short period of tratment will cure the problem. The sooner you act the better.
